Our Story
Meredith Lawyers dates its origins back to 2007, as a small family law practice established in Western Australia. Now based in Sydney, with a continued presence in Perth, we are able to service clients across the country.
Our Principal, David Meredith, has handled a diverse range of family law cases since his admission to practice in 2002 and is regularly sought for his professionalism and dedication to his clients’ interests. Family law is a challenging area of practice. David’s more than 20 years’ experience is invaluable for clients as they navigate what is often an emotionally-charged and unfamiliar world of lawyers, the court system, rules of evidence, and legal principles. Our solicitors are here not only to provide you with expert advice and representation but also to guide you through the family law system as you work toward the ideal outcome.

David Meredith is the Managing Partner of Meredith Lawyers and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2002. For more than 20 years, he has worked almost exclusively in Family Law, and he has appeared in the Federal Circuit Court of Australia in Sydney, Melbourne, Newcastle and Dandenong, and the Family Court of Western Australia in Perth. David is a personable, determined and tenacious lawyer who has represented clients from all walks of life and is passionate about working closely with each of his clients to guide them through what is often one of the most challenging experiences of their lives.
Whilst David routinely instructs counsel, he also has extensive advocacy experience and can appear at procedural, interim and final hearings, where his team can ensure your matter is thoroughly prepared. Alternatively, he can engage preferred barristers if you wish to be represented at an interim or final hearing by counsel. David has achieved excellent outcomes over his years of practice and has a wealth of experience and knowledge he can draw upon to help deliver the advice you need. David is also a member of the Law Society of NSW.

Lucienne Curchod is a Solicitor at Meredith Lawyers. Lucienne was admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW in 2017 and is currently completing her Masters in Family Law. Prior to Lucienne’s legal studies, she completed her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Santa Clara California in Art and English.
Lucienne’s legal background encompasses not only family law but also property law/conveyancing, wills and estates law, giving a broad knowledge base to some of the issues that can accompany family law proceedings.
Lucienne has an interest in Collaborative Law practices and dispute resolution in order to achieve a non-litigated outcome wherever possible, in a timely, sensitive manner.
Lehi Dudley

Lehi Dudley works as a Law Clerk at Meredith Lawyers, and the responsibilities of his role include assisting the solicitors in various legal matters and providing administrative support to the firm.
Lehi is currently in the final year of his Law degree at the University of Sydney. Outside of work and academic commitments, you can find Lehi support the South Sydney Rabbitohs at the Accor Stadium or volunteering for the Marine Rescue NSW.
Kay Yun

Kay Yun is a Law Clerk at Meredith Lawyers. Kay is in the final year of his Juris Doctor degree at the University of Sydney.
Prior to joining our firm, Kay gained valuable professional experience in the corporate sector as Contract Manager with a leading builder in Seoul, South Korea. Kay managed multiple commercial contracts and resolved legal disputes in arbitration and litigation, honing skills that have translated well into his current role. Kay also has a Bachelor of Engineering from Hanbat National University, South Korea.
Speaking both Korean and English at a professional level, Kay brings a multicultural perspective to our team. Beyond the legal realm, Kay is a huge fan of tennis and soccer.
